The Dallas–Fort Worth grounds bids closing now.

Every row below is a real close we re-read at the agency's own procurement portal: City of Richardson 04-27 (closes Nov 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST), Frisco ISD 889-2026-05-32 (closes Dec 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM CT), Duncanville ISD MS-26-27.002 (closes Dec 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM CT) and Mesquite ISD 2023-011 (closes Dec 31, 2026 at 2:00 PM CT). Each row carries the agency that issued it, the close instant and the value its portal publishes — or says so plainly when it publishes none. A bid leaves this page the moment its deadline passes.

Every Dallas–Fort Worth grounds close we hold a read on that is still taking responses at this render, nearest close first — each row carries the agency that issued it, its solicitation number, the county and the close instant its own portal publishes. A close leaves this list the moment that instant passes.

Every close above is the agency's own, re-read at its procurement portal, and each row links to a page carrying that solicitation's facts and the agency's listing. A bid leaves this list the moment its deadline passes. Counties name the agency's own jurisdiction — a school district or a water district is a subdivision of the county or counties named.

Annual Litter Abatement Program

City of Richardson · Richardson, TX

REVIEW

An install year plus a measured monthly service, priced by the inlet — right-of-way litter and storm-drain inlet filter service rather than mowing, so the bid turns on a truck route, a basket rate and a disposal cost instead of acreage. REVIEW: it fits a grounds contractor who already runs a route and can show three similar jobs in the last five years; price the per-inlet install and the monthly inspection and disposal separately rather than averaging them, and check the bid bond and the bonds due on award against your bonding capacity before you bid.

Scope of work

Right-of-way litter and storm-drain inlet filter service across the City of Richardson, bought as an annual program — the installation of the curb-inlet filters (193 inlets at a one-time cost per inlet, plus three more each year), then monthly maintenance, inspection and basket replacement, with the captured debris measured and removed on every visit — roughly 17,700 linear feet of inlet a year — at locations throughout the city. This is the inlet-filter and litter service the City buys as a route, not a mowing or turf contract: nothing in it is acreage, and the monthly number is carried by the basket, the measurement and the disposal. The City awards a twelve-month term beginning at award with four one-year renewals on the same terms and publishes an estimated budget of approximately $145,000; a bid bond is required with the response.

Bid checklist

  • Register on the City's Bonfire portal (cor.bonfirehub.com) and work the listing from there — the invitation to bid, its attachments, the Bid Book and every answer the City posts are served from that listing, and the Bid Book opens only to a registered bidder.
  • Do not price this as mowing: the program is right-of-way litter and storm-drain inlet filter service — installation of the curb-inlet filters, then monthly maintenance, measuring and debris removal. The ITB states 193 inlets installed at a one-time cost per inlet, three additional inlets a year, and roughly 17,700 linear feet of inlet maintained annually.
  • Build the monthly number out of the maintenance clause — inspection, basket replacement as needed, measuring and debris removal on each visit — because the recurring cost is the basket and disposal rate, not the install.
  • File the bid bond with the response. The ITB counts the Bid Bond among its required submission items, and a response without it is not responsive.
  • Assemble the documents the ITB requires with the response: Bid Bond (PDF), Contract Bid Schedule Acknowledgement (PDF), Contractor Questionnaire & Acknowledgement (PDF), Form W-9 (PDF), and BidTable BT-06PW (Excel).
  • Line up the bonds you will owe on award before you bid — the invitation requires performance, payment and maintenance bonds, due within ten days of notice of award, and the Bid Book states the percentages.
  • Compile at least three similar projects completed in the last five years, with contact names, scope and contract values — the ITB sets that as the experience requirement.
  • Attend the pre-bid conference on Oct 22, 2026 at 2:00 PM CDT if you can: it is not mandatory, it is held over ZoomGov, and it is where the measurement and disposal questions get answered.
  • Ask in writing before the cutoff — questions are due Oct 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM CDT, and the City posts its answers on the listing for every bidder. The listing's contact is Maria Reina Rances-Trice ([email protected]).
  • Price the whole term, not the first year: twelve months from award plus four one-year renewals the City may exercise on the same terms, against the ITB's approximately $145,000 estimated budget.
  • Check the listing for addenda, and file the complete response through the City's Bonfire portal before the close — Nov 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. The City opens the bids an hour later, at 3:00 PM CST.

The reference (04-27), title, agency, status, close instant (Nov 12, 2026 · 2:00 PM CST), pre-bid conference, questions cutoff, bid opening and required-submission list are the City's own Bonfire listing (cor.bonfirehub.com, project 256307), re-read at the portal on 2026-10-08; the approximately $145,000 estimated budget, the twelve-month term with four one-year renewals, the bid bond and the three-similar-projects requirement are the invitation to bid's own published terms. The City publishes no insurance dollar limits publicly — the limits are in the Bid Book, which is login-gated to registered bidders — so this card prints no figure. A full pre-read pulls the inlet schedule and the insurance requirement from the package and scores the bid against your own service area and capabilities.

The list above is free: the agency, the solicitation number, the close date, the county, the value and the agency's own listing. What we charge $29 for is the decision layer on one of those closes — and it is a single charge, with no subscription, no trial and no account, on sale right now for City of Richardson 04-27, Frisco ISD 889-2026-05-32, Duncanville ISD MS-26-27.002, Mesquite ISD 2023-011.

A go/no-go recommendation

The verdict for that one solicitation with its key reason — what the scope really asks for, what the pricing turns on, and what would make it a bad bid for a firm like yours.

The bid checklist

Item by item: registration, mandatory forms, insurance documents, certifications, references, pricing, submission instructions, signatures and deadlines, plus the site visit or pre-bid conference where the agency publishes one.

A first-draft response outline

Eleven sections in order, from the cover letter through attachments, each with the points this particular solicitation needs — a draft to write into, not a blank template.

The pack is emailed the moment the payment is confirmed and is priced server-side at $29; a close stops being sellable the instant it stops accepting responses. The subscription is the other product — it matches every grounds close in your service area and starts with a 3-day free trial on the sample page.

Sources & freshness

Where every row on this page comes from.

Where do these bid facts come from?
Each row is read off the agency's own procurement portal — Bonfire and IonWave tenants for the Dallas–Fort Worth cities, counties, school districts and special districts in this window. The agency, the solicitation number, the close date and time, the scope tag and the value line are that portal's values, and every row links to the listing so you can check all of them.
How current is it?
The page is generated on every request, and a bid is filtered out the instant its published close time passes — including the close time when the portal publishes one, not just the calendar day. We would rather show you four real closes than five with one that has stopped accepting responses.
Why is one pre-read free in full?
Because you should be able to read the whole thing before you pay for anything. One finished pre-read on one of the closes above renders in full — scope, go/no-go and bid checklist — with no form and no charge.
What does the $29 pack add?
The decision layer for one close you pick: the go/no-go recommendation, the full bid checklist and an eleven-section first-draft response outline for that solicitation, emailed to you at purchase. It is one charge for one close — nothing recurs.
A close I need is not listed.
Then it has either closed or we have not read it at the agency’s portal yet — and we will not list a solicitation we have not read. Nothing is ever removed by hand: a row leaves this list the instant its own published deadline passes, and the close you are looking for is gone from it exactly when the agency stops accepting responses. Tell us the agency and we will look for it — email [email protected]. The address works for a mailbox someone actually reads.
